Pastor Jonathan F. Lowder, Sr.
Pastor Jonathan F. Lowder Sr. is a third-generation preacher from Warner Robins, Georgia. He sensed a call to preach at fourteen, wrestled with it for years, and surrendered to it on November 26, 2000 — preaching his initial sermon, When the Storm Comes, from Job chapter one. Over twenty-five years in ministry, he has served as worship leader, youth pastor, and executive pastor across the Missionary Baptist tradition, including seven years at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church and a formative pastorate at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Bolingbrook, Georgia. In 2024, he was called to serve as Senior Pastor of The Historic St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas — founded in 1865 — and serves on the Southwest Regional Board of Directors for the National Baptist Convention, representing Arkansas. He and his wife of more than twenty-two years are the parents of four children and make their home in Centerton, Arkansas.
